Frequently Asked

Answers to common institutional questions.

For tailored guidance on your accreditation pathway, contact the registry directly.

Are AIAC accreditations internationally recognized?
Yes. AIAC frameworks reference ISO 17011, FATF 40 and Basel CDD principles and are acknowledged by regulators, banking counterparties and multilateral institutions across 98 jurisdictions.
How long does the accreditation process take?
Standard institutional accreditation completes within 8–14 weeks from submission of a complete dossier, depending on entity complexity and jurisdiction.
How can third parties verify a certificate?
Every issued credential carries a unique registry identifier and QR code. Third parties can query the public registry at any time without cost.
What happens if an entity falls out of compliance?
AIAC operates continuous surveillance. Material findings trigger remediation notices, conditional status or — in severe cases — suspension and public registry update.
